There are three types of classifications for CoolMax product lines.
• CoolMax Everyday
This is casual wear that is soft, lightweight, breathable and most of all comfortable. This line has allowed everyday clothing to be adaptable to changes in temperature and moisture levels on our bodies.• CoolMax Active
This line was created to enhance performance for any activity regardless of the climate. This clothing was designed to be cooler for the active lifestyle and it has the ability to wick away sweat and moisture to regulate body temperature.• CoolMax Extreme
Extreme athletes benefit from this technologically advanced product line because of its advanced moisture management system. It not only has the ability to reduce skin temperature but it also can decrease an athlete’s heart rate and assist in maintaining hydration.
Comparing the Ordinary
The combination of CoolMax’s moisture management system and its breathability is a winning combination when compared to other fabrics like cotton, nylon, wool and spandex. CoolMax has the fastest drying time, and the most efficient movement of moisture from the skin and overall breathability. Cotton is a breathable fabric but it does not wick moisture away from the skin instead it absorbs it leaving the fabric damp. Nylon will trap moisture and prevent airflow. It is best used with other fabrics and its claim to fame is its washability. Spandex is known for its ability to maintain shape and not for its ability to stay dry, spandex will absorb moisture. Lastly, wool can absorb a large amount of moisture and keep you warm you will not stay dry for long. None of these other fabrics have the ability to help regulate body temperature or keep you dry with the same performance as CoolMax.
