Under Armour Performance Apparel

A name suggesting warlike activities was the bet of Kevin Plank, founder of the original performance apparel company which is giving the battle to established giants of the industry such as Nike, Adidas and Reebok, scaling positions inside the Stock Markets on basis of its success, but also in the preference of thousands of fitness enthusiasts and athletes who benefit from the clothing made of moisture wicking microfiber. This microfiber has is able to pull perspiration away from the skin keeping athletes cool, and dry during their workout, practices or sporting activities.

The advantages of sweat wicking clothing are not limited for those who exercise in regular basis. Men, women and youth can feel the experience of staying cool and comfortable during summer days, camping, jogging around, playing games or shoveling snow. There is no particular season, activity or lifestyle that limits the wearing of Under Armour’s comfortable apparel.

Many other people have benefited from performance apparel clothing, including military and industrial personnel, but particularly athletic teams naming the company as their official outfitter. In fact, a contract worth over $10.6 million in sponsorship, product and additional benefits was signed between Under Armour Performance Apparel and the Auburn University this past December 1st 2005, making it possible for teams to wear their uniforms, cleats, apparel and accessories beginning in the summer of 2006.
